Evidence Before Claims

Transparency & Evidence

A public framework for distinguishing what is verified, active, developing, proposed and prospective. The objective is simple: make the Foundation's public information easier to understand and harder to misread.

VERIFIED

Documented

Supported by an identifiable primary record, official publication, executed agreement, formal report or other appropriate evidence.

ACTIVE

Underway

An initiative or relationship represented as currently operating, with a defined basis for that status.

DEVELOPING

In formation

A relationship, programme or project being developed but not yet represented as fully established.

PROPOSED

Planned concept

A defined future initiative that remains subject to resources, approvals, agreements or implementation conditions.

PROSPECTIVE

Potential

An opportunity, partner or concept under consideration without a representation that it has been accepted or activated.

ARCHIVED

Historical

Information retained for institutional context but not represented as a current programme, relationship or result.

Evidence Pipeline

How a public claim should mature

01

Source

Identify the underlying record.

02

Review

Check identity, date, scope and relevance.

03

Classify

Assign the appropriate status.

04

Publish

State only what the evidence supports.

05

Update

Revise status when facts change.

Important: A webpage description is not itself proof of a licence, registration, funding award, partnership, scientific result or governmental recognition. Those matters should be checked against the relevant primary record.
